The actual cruise control /appears/ to just use a stepper motor to control the throttle - it has a second throttle cable for this purpose. Couple of radars and some trick software should do it

	Expensive, nearly new ones. I question your apparent assumption (from the vagueness of your reply) that the OP will be put off by the fact that only are expensive, nearly new cars have the feature they're asking about. HTH. I doubt that this answer does help the OP in any way.

The car in front accelerates, you accelerate, to your preset speed. I'm not a fan of cruise in general, but this strikes me as the most dangerous misuse of technology going. It's a positive encouragement for drivers to sit with their brains in neutral and their cruise switched on on busy motorways.
