Micronet Showrooms - Help I Need a good lawyer

I'm now very angry at these people and how they can continue this scam by
continuously telling lies. They even have given several of their victims
(including me) the same registration number FJ05OCL.
Does anyone have details of a lawyer that have dealt with these scum
before. Do you get loss of interest and costs in the award.

 Hello Mr Mcconnell,

Just for clarification, the registration given to me by Micronet was FJ05
OCE. It does seem rather strange however that we've both been given
virtually identical numbers. If they really do sell around 60 cars per
week that seems rather coincidental !!! My number was given to me by David
Loach on Thursday 24th March
I have no doubts that this outfit are not fit to be in business, and I do
not believe they ever intended to provide me with my Land Rover Discovery
in the first place.
As I stated in a recent forum posting, I received a refund via BACS
transfer this Tuesday.
I would strongly recommend that you do the same.
Send them a recorded delivery letter demanding a full refund and inform
them of your rights - quoting the 2000 distance selling regulations, and
that they are in breach of their contractural obligations. This letter
along with constant daily bombardment of E-Mails should see them relent
and refund your money promptly.
I know exactly how you are feeling right now, and despite having a refund
of my money, I am determined to see justice served against this extremely
dodgy company !!!
I shall be seeking legal advice with regards to compensation for the
stress and inconvenience they put me through.
I wish you all the best in securing your refund, and if I can be of any
assistance please let me know.

Regards,

Pete C

Thank you, I will be pursuing them. Could we start an action like you can
in the US where a group forms a TORT and that group takes action as a body
through the courts to recover costs. I would certainly be upp for that.

Go to Nottingham and "ask nicely" for your money back and don't leave till
you have it. Ask for a cheque and then present it at your bank immediately
and request special clearance and keep fingers crossed that they still have
money in their bank account. This worked for us. Good luck.

I've received my money back today, thy've had it for over 6 months interest
free, so far.
I'd start demanding the money back now quoting distant selling or check
the web site to see if they have an equivalent model available from stock
and demand that.
These guys don't need to sell cars they can live of the interest they earn
from us mugs. They have no intention of providing a car to us.
