3rd member info sought

Does anyone know the width (flange to flange) of the 3rd member in a '55
coupe?
Does anyone know what year Ford Ranger or S-10 uses the same width 3rd
member? Would it have the same 5 x 4 1/2 in bolt pattern? Would there be
one with disc brakes?
Thanking (whomever might have the answers ) in advance,
Dexter

The GM versions S-10 and variants have two widths, one for 2WD and one for
4WD, but they are 5 X 4 3/4 bolt pattern. The 2WD is approx, 54 1/4 hub
to hub and the 4WD is about 3" wider. I'm not familiar w/the width for
Ford Ranger. I'm using the 2WD version under a '55 C Body, as I want to
run some wide tires.

There are 2 differnt widths on the Ford ranger before 92 and after 92.
I`ve got a Ford ranger rear end under my 48 3.76 gears and they also
have a 3.55
