Sounds like you may need still more trans fluid, probably Dexron 3. It
may say Dexron 2 on the stick. 3 is just the current version. Start
the car and add fluid until it is not quite up to the full mark on the
trans dip stick. Try it then.

maybe proper tranny fluid? I hope you didn't use oil??

 hello, i am needing help. i am having a problem with my car. the transmission fluid was changed and refilled in my car. once that was done, it started shifting correctly but i am left with a problem it use to delay before going into reverse, now it wont go in reverse at all. can anyone help me.

 I ahve a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3 speed transmission. The vehicle recentlywent in for replacement of the upstream oxygen sensor. When I picked the vehicle up it died when I put it into reverse. It died when I put it into drive. When putting it into gear the rpm fluctuates up and down initially and then dies. There were no problems with the vehicle other than the O2 sensor. It runs great and shifts into gear smoothly. Is this a computer issue with the new O2 sensor?
