stering wheel wobble in 2001 OBW

When I get the car up to about 60mph on freeway, there is a very noticable
vibration in the stering wheel, and I also think that braking may not be as
'smooth' as it should. I could just be used to some of it by now. Any
ideas?

First step: get your wheels balanced by someone who knows how to do it
properly. I once had to bring the car back twice to get rid of such a
problem. As for the braking, how much mileage do you have on them?

Braking problem could be a warped rotor? My 2000 Sentra brakes weren't very
smooth and it turned out that one of my rotors had warped. If wheels are
balanced proberly, may be out of line?

Make sure your lugnuts are tight and you don't have
ice or mud built up inside the wheels. Inspect the
tires for bulges.

Wheel balance and machining your discs is a good place to start. Badly
worn tyres is the next thing. Had the same thing in my 97 Civic. New
tyres fixed the problem
