	This was posted on a hotrod board where I am registered. I don't know anything about it. Email me if you want me to get the sellers address (otherwise to get a user's email address, you have to register at that site). Might be kind of pricey for some (depending on the condition...or it could be good buy too, if it's in nice condition) but there are no Studes left to pick from in the local junk yards near me (outside of Boston, MA) The only info the seller gave in his ad was: 259 Stude Mill running with manual gear box... $750 NorCal http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53221

	Tell him he's dreaming if he thinks he'll get anywhere near $750. He may get a few hundred if it's a full flow block and a good trans. 	I just bought a 259 full-flow engine with OD transmission, sight unseen, for $75. Seller ( a Stude guy) says it needs rebuilt, but it is all there. I have to drive about 75 miles to fetch it. Gord Richmond

	I bought one for Mike last year for $50 and Fred Cook delivered it for $50 more. That engine was advertised on the group back in 99 along with a 289. I bought the 289 then and apparently no one ever got back to him about the 259. 	Yes, I know the price was way high, but there was the chance that someone nearby the seller might have needed one "RIGHT NOW" and the "possibility???" that the engine could have had a recent rebuild (though that's a slim possibility). That said, around the nearby big cities (I live outside of Boston), unless you can find a Stude collector/ parts hoarder with a rebuildable or decent running used engine for sale, there are no nearby salvage yards with any Studes in the them, and to find a yard that did (in Northern New England's backwoods areas) it going to entail a drive of a few hours. The guy selling this engine/trans may well start dropping the price if he gets no takers.
