Studes at Selma Car Classic

Itraseecab@Aol.Com 25 April 2005 07:42:23
I mentioned that our chapter made a great showing at a local car show
in Selma, NC. Check out this site for the pics. Most of our cars are
in the first gallery, but a member's Packard is in the 3rd gallery.
Also not that the Stat Highway Patrol was present at the show with a
restored '79 patrol car. I asked the obvious question and was informed,
by a young officer with a silly grin on his face, that the '79
Plymouth has a better top end than the new cars they use.

Looks like this was a super car show. Your club made a great showing for
Studebaker.

Is that the same Selma show that gives a "Lester Mattox" axe handle
award? <G>

Nope -- its the Selma that give each car club with 12 or more cars $300
for showing up and our check is in the bank.
