--Shiva-- 22 April 2005 02:07:34
 a mechanic friend is working on a 36 Packard model 120 A
emphasis the A
seems SOME ijiot replaced a fuse, with a bolt, and he needs a
LOT of wiring harness generator to regulator, plus regulator,
clear to the dash.

on a RELATED note, where can one send dash gauges to be
fixed/and the smoke removed from the face? its a GOOD mess..

thanks

I assume that Rhode Island Wiring would have the harnesses, although I
doubt they would be cheap. As for the gauges, I wish I knew where Stan
got them redone for the Speedster, because they are gorgeous.

I agree with Nate; I have used Rhode Island wire for years and they are
great. Not cheap, but as we all know, fun ain't cheap and cheap ain't
fun. Last harness I got from them was for my 38 Commander and it was (and
still is) a work of art. As for the gauges, the internet and/or Hemmings
lists many places.

 I did not know there was a 1936 Packard "A" I have a 1936 Packard and I was
under the impression they are all considered 1936B Packards. This is a
source of wiring harnesses for those cars.
