	I am leaving Jacksonville, Fl. on the evening of the 3rd of May and returning 10 May. Route to go thru Nashville, Tn., I have room for 2 non-smoking (you can fart, belch & pick you nose, but NO SMOKING!)riders to share transportation expenses (motorhome travel), any interest? Calvin

	OK, so far I will be picking up Jerry Forrester in Douglasville, Ga., (1 sailor, 1 marine, could be an interesting trip!). Jerry visited me yesterday and dropped off a 1986 Corvette carcass for suspension duty either under my '37 Packard or '54 coupe, gathering parts for production!

All the original paint must be removed, and sadley the gold you want to change to silver is in the lower part of the casting. I don't know of any solvents that would remove the paint without danaging the casting, MEK..Toluline, and the paint solvent will ruin the casting at time of application. You cold use DOT 3 Brake Fluid to see if it removes the paint. We used brake fluid for years withe excellent results but it left scaring where ther two paints met. Weaver Models in Northumberland Pa makes a paint remover $22 a pint that might do it but it slao might damage the wyite/clear casting.
