My Post?

Alex M 18 April 2005 08:03:01
Mike mentioned that he saw my post from the 16th about my fuel problem.
I can't see it but it must have been there for awhile? Anyone still see
it?
Anyway, while I'm having the tank repaired I'm going to have them
replace the pickup tube with 3/8th tubing and will run that up to the
pump. I'm also going to move the tank over 3/8 of an inch as it is
almost touching the left exhaust pipe.

Alex. Your post is still there; "Manifold Project" is what you called it.

Now I'm really going nuts. I found it using "find" and can read it when
I click on it in the list. It was posted at 9:26 PM.
When I look in the group in the regular area, I still can't see it.
Everything is in chronological order. I looked at every post on the
16th?

If you even need to find old archived posts... try going here:
http://www.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en

You just type in keywords, etc... and it will search the archives of any
newsgroup. You can search by autor, title, subject, date, etc...

Found out my favorite radiator and gas tank repairman has retired.
Others did not want to mess with it. I took it home and worked on the
tank. ran a cable through the pickup tube and spun it with my drill.
Cleaned out some junk. I think some of the tank sealer was coating the
inside of the bottom of the tube and had come loose and flapped around
intermittently cutting off the flow. I used a soap bubble solution to
try and find the pinhole leak I thought I saw the other day but couldn't
so I guess it isn't leaking. I'm going to put it back in and see how it
works.
