'63 Hawk

The ignition key on my new Hawk all of a sudden twirls around without
doing anything, leaving me high and dry, so I figure it's shot. How do
I remove the ignition lock? It looks like there's a little hole at the
top on the outside case, but I can't get an allen wrench to do much.
And how much will another ignition assembly cost me? Any suggestions
for a Studebaker doofus?

Turn the key to the ignition position and depress the pin through that
small hole. (nail or paper clip)

remove the whole assembly from the car, insert key, turn key to "run"
and push down on the little nub sticking up into the case. Then you can
pull the cylinder out of the switch and see what's broken and which part
you need.

good luck

Not familiar with a 63. But if its anything like a Chevy, insert a
straightened HD paper clip in the little hole, turn the key
counter-clockwise and the cylinder will pull out.
