 Today, we took a first drive in our "new" Studebaker; a 1959 Lark VI 2 dr
sedan, 30,000 orig miles. We bought it this winter, and waited for the
roads to be clean of salt. Wow! What a pleasure. A little hesitation on
the first run, so I cleaned the points, rotor, and cap, and changed the
coil wire. And then, away we went. Drives like new! Even took it on the
freeway for a 20 mile 70 mph run. I haven't had that much fun in a long
time. Anybody around eastern Ontario, come on over, and I take you for a
ride.

 I bought a similar lark 2 years ago, with just under 30K, and yes, it is a
joy to drive.

I have the engine torn down now to replace all the seals and gaskets. I
can't wait to drive it again. Maybe in a few weeks.
