62 Hawk GT: traction bar question

Tony in Austin 7 April 2005 02:41:28
 Hello Again-
The TT rear I am installing has two mounts on the top for traction
bars. How hard would it be to add them to my '62 Hawk? Is there a
bracket I would add to the frame and would it need welding? This car
is not a racer, but I do love gadgets.
*
Thanks in advance
Tony in Austin
* PS My Dad had a GT when I was a kid. I remember the Red White and
Blue door cheveron so it must have been a '63 or later. He still does
not know I have this GT. When I get this looking good I am going to
surprise him. Ya know, just ask if he wants to see my new car...

Yes and yes. Not sure if anyone makes a repro bracket but the bars and
bushings are available.
