 Sold at auction in western nebraska for $775, year not announced, someone
guessed 1962
Had the largest rear diff housing I ever saw in such a small truck. On
blocks, very little rust, good glass, door panels looked exceptional, but
bench seat was toast.
Could not get the hood more than a couple inches open, V8 covered in thick
oil.

 That would be a 1963 3/4 ton V8 Champ. The rear differential is a Dana
60, that would be otherwise found under the rear of Brand X one ton
trucks(Dodge , F8rd, Ch&vy,)
Sounds like somebody got a heck of a deal.
