Opinion's on used 2001 Galant ES 2.4L

 I've been looking at used 2001 Galant's for a 2nd vehicle and wonder
what if any problem areas there are with this car.

The one in particular I've found is a 2001 Galant ES 2.4L with 47000
miles. Does this particular engline have a timing belt or chain?

Also anyone know what kind of mileage I can expect with this vehicle?

The 4G64 engine has a belt.
Also anyone know what kind of mileage I can expect with this vehicle?

Less than the V6. About 22 mpg city, 28 mpg hwy. Slightly less if its an
automatic.
