 For what it's worth... I currently have a 2.0hdi VTR+ on a one-week
test drive, and it definitely does not play MP3s. The dealer tells me
that all UK models have Clarion stereos - so this business of "you
might get lucky because there are three different brands" isn't true
for the UK.

Cheers,
Nick

Just got a new VTR+ HDi 2.0 hatch. My radio does not play MP3 disks (nor
does it do bluetooth). However a guy I work with has a VTS HDi 2.0 Coupe
which does play MP3 disks (and also does bluetooth). Not sure if this is a
VTS/VTR+ difference or if the fact that his car was a custom build (he
wanted the sun roof option).

Anyone know an easy way to tell which non MP3 RD4 radio I have?

Andy

Well, if I've understood the three versions correctly (see earlier
post from me) you should try to insert a CD which has CD-text on it.
But how do you know if it has? If you're not familiar with the CD-text
concept, i.e. haven't got CD-text on the hifi at home, you could
probably just park outside a hifi store and ask them to lend you a
demo CD that they use on their CD players with CD text.
