About the gas in crankcase... depending on year.. ( IE. Fuel Injected
Carb.... Older cars with Carb.. most times are choke pull-off not> working,. you have no idea just how much fuel it will take right
down> the intake...... wash the valves then down in the pan. IF you pull a
plug on each cyl..& find ALL washed ( WHITE ) electrode.. its a> Choke prob. if you find it in a single cylinder ( Fuel
Injection. )> is a bad injector. or needs new seals/o-rings. If Multi-port Inj..> probably Fuel reg... Good luck.. u sure can blow up an engine
that> way.. get it fixed soon.. OH! Forgot as another suggested..
single> cyl.. may be bad plug or wire.. that cyl washes & fowls
plug.. again good luck..

On a older vehicle with a mechanical fuel pump, a bad diaphram can leak
fuel directly into the crankcase.
