Putting a 427 in a 327 Corvette

Mwilson812 23 February 2005 16:34:30
I am looking for some advise from someone who has done this, or from a
mid-year Corvette expert.

I have a 66 Corvette Roadster, 4 speed with a 327 that is not the
original motor. A friend on mine has a 427 of the era, that he will
sell me at a very good price. My question for you Corvette experts out
there is. What needs to be changed in order to put a big block in a
small block 66 Corvette. I know the springs are different because of
the weight difference, but I am sure there is a lot more things that
need to be changed. I just want to know what I am getting into before I
buy this 427.

Thanks in advance for any guidance that you mid-year Corvette experts
have.
Mark
