bumper bolt question

N8n 27 January 2005 17:10:00
 Hi all,

got a '64 Studebaker that is pretty much a basket case. A very nice,
clean, rust-free basket case, but a basket case nonetheless. One of
the things that is missing is the bumper bolts - they are oval head,
stainless capped bolts, 7/16" I think. I've been searching on the web
and can't find them anywhere for less than $7.50 apiece, and when you
need 12 of them that starts to add up. Anyone know of any other cars
that used these oval head bolts?

thanks,

nate

Most of the 30's Fords used them. You will still pay 7.50 each

That sounds cheap to me compared to what the other parts are going to cost.
