How to remove 300M door panel (to access window motor) ?

MoPar Man 10 April 2005 05:04:04

Seems my front-passenger window motor is dead. No response from both
the driver's window switch nor the passenger's switch. All other
windows work. No indication that the window motors are individually
fused.

Do I need special tools to remove the door panel?

Is the motor integrated with the linkage, or can it be removed while
keeping the linkage in place?

Not individually fused, but before you remove it, while the engine is
running and the door open, slam the door a few times as you are holding the
window switch in the door position, most of the times what happens is the
window gets stuck in the gasket at the top, when the window does go down,
clean the top of the gasket and the windows on all 4 doors.

don't be afraid to slam the door very hard either

Thanks a ton. I had {censored} panel half off and a little stuck getting the bottom half of the door unhinged. I went out, slammed the door and bingo. Thanks! -Mike
