Headlight relays for Neon & Voyager

Jeff Wieland 5 April 2005 23:31:30
I'm upgrading the headlights on both of our vehicles, a 2001 Neon R/T
and '95 Voyager. One thing I want to do is install fuses, relays, and
draw current directly from the battery to get full current to the
headlights. I'm also replacing the bulbs on both with Philips
VisionPlus +50 bulbs (so we'll need the wiring improvements). We'll
probably buy the kits from Daniel Stern Lighting
<http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html>.

I'm trying to figure out where to locate the relays and fuses on the
Neon -- things are tight under the hood, and I don't see an obvious
place to put them. I'm thinking that someone else must have done this
to their Neon, and could tell me where they put the extra hardware.

The Voyager at least has more empty space. Again, I'd like to hear
from anyone who has made this modification to a 2nd generation minivan
to find out where to locate the relays and fuses. I know that this
van is getting kind of old, but it's my wife's daily driver, and she
really likes the old beast.
