UK A4 Cab. after market satnav - any experience?

 Just bought a 2004 A4 Cab, and my old PDA based satnav looks cheap in the
car - anyone got any experience with 3rd party satnav+audio units - would
like one that hooks to DIS system if possible - otherwise the top half of
the dash display will never "do" anything.

The car doesn't have remote controls on the steering wheel if that makes a
difference.
