| | I drive a 2001 CL. Three Hondas were stolen of my apartment't lot last
night, one was parked right next to mine; yet mine wasn't touched. I'm
going to get my WIndows ethed this weekend, but beyond that I'm not
sure if there's anything I can do. The cars that were stolen were 1995
to 1999 models (I think) but I know they weren't all that new.
Any suggestions?

going into second and stays in second a long time before it shifts into 3rd
(its an automatic). Also, sometimes when I start it, it's like the idle is
really low and it wants to die. Eventually it comes back to normal. Just
wondering if there is anyone else this happens to. thanks

I think my 94 GSR starter is going,it sometimes will not crank,seems worst
after sitting all night,then works fine. New battery.

Just wondering if i can get suggestions of where and what is the best winter
tire to with rim to use on an RSX? i was told at the dealer that it was best
i buy from them because they say that elsewhere i buy, the steel rims won't
fit properly on the my RSX premium. They quoted me 1100 bucks for this and
I'm trying to find much much cheaper. Is Canadian Tire good for this?

| | I've been troubleshooting my wife's car for two days now. Everything
seems to point to the distributor. Tests have shown that the primary
and secondary ignition coils are operational, that voltage is reaching
the ignition control module (icm) and that there is voltage between the
module and the coils. New timing belt. New rotor. New distributor cap.
wires are only 16 months old. No spark!
I'm stumped! By the way, I also checked the ckp/tdc/cyp sensors. Any
suggestions?

| | I have an Acura EL and the passanger window (it's electric) is kind of slow
going up. I figure it must need some lubrication, but I can't figure out how
to access the inside parts. Is this something I can do myself with basic

Am I missing much or regretting in spending the extra cash for the S model?
Where i drove VW's, should have i gotten the VR6? I ended up buying the
premium edition RSX after. How does that compare to the other competitors
out there. Is 160 much and can it be upgraded with more power? It's not like
i'm going to go race it but I'd like to know what people are doing. I'm
content with the power now. it's a big change from a wolfsburg. I bought it
because it looked nice. should I appreciate its power or did i lose out
instead of purchasing the type S Model? so sorry for the many questions. I'm
so curious.

| | My friend's Acura RL has a 1-ft long crack starting from the right edge
of the front windshield, about halfway up the windshield. It's roughly
horizontal, with some up and down deviations, but no "spider web" or
"sunburst" cracks at all! He noticed it after the car was parked in a
parking lot. What could have caused that??? He thinks it was vandalism.

| | Whenever i start my car in the morning or after a few hours It will
squeak badly..Sometimes louder/worse then others..It wont squeak If id
been driving the car a bit and i turn it off for maybe an hour to 2
hours at the most but after then it will squeak..Suposivly there are
new belts on the car and they have been tightened Also I think it has
automatic tension for the belt. It is a nice car and it runs well but
the only thing that seems to be wrong is the squeak! Please help!

| | Independent shop replaced 96 TL master cylinder a few weeks ago but
brakes seemed to be less "firm" than before the problem arose (pedal to
the floor). Now the ABS light comes on and the mechanic says that the
codes say the accumulator is at fault. Acura dealer says he has never
sold an accumulator ($1200).
Has anyone had to replace an accumulator on an Acura product?
