| | I have an '00 TL 3.2 that needs the EGR service bulletin performed. This
is where the intake plenum is removed and the EGR port is drilled out
and a sleeve is inserted (or so I am told).
Can anybody tell me where to get a copy of this service bulletin? It was
issued in late '99 but my '00 TL was manufactured before the service
bulletin was issued.
I'm well past the 80K emissions warranty, and I can't afford to pay
dealer megabucks for this job. I would like to do this myself but I
can't get my hands on the SB. Can anyone help me?

| | my car have problem starting. somedays it will start with no problem
and can run all day, but now it on and off. I can start my car in the
morning with eaze but by the time i stop and shut off my car and try
to start it up again, the will start but then die with in a second.
trying to turn the key again, the car wont start. the car will crank
but it will not turn over. the only way i can start it back up is to
shift the gears and turn the key to make it start, but that only work
sometime.
does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix this problem?

| | Hello All, I recently purchased a pre-owned 2003 Acura 3.2TL Type S with
navigation. The car is MINT except I don't have the code for the navigation
system and the dealer doesn't either. Before I bring it in to Acura and get
killed on fees I was wondering if anyone knows how to reset the navigation
system's 4 digit code to a default code. Is that possible? Or do i HAVE to
take it to an Acura dealer to get reset? Thanks for your help!!

from work the ABS and TCS (traction control) lights both came on within
10 seconds after I started to drive the car. (These lights went off as
normal after the car was started.)
Is there any hint as to the problem if both these lights have come on
at the same time?

I recently swapped out the battery on my 2000 Integra SE and then the
stereo no longer worked. It just said "Code".
I enterd the code but I screwed it up by one digit. O-O!! Then I hit a
bunch of other digits cuz I didn't know how to reset the state of the
thing. It now says "Err-3". Dough! I don't know how to get out of it. I
tried disconnecting the battery again and the "Err-3" persists. I do not
have my user manual. Any ides???

mileage increase with synthetic or synthetic blend oil?
I just switched to synthetic blend in my 1996 Integra LS about 6000 miles
ago. I noticed my highway mileage went up about 2 mpg, from 32 to 34 with
the switch to synthetic. Is this similar to what others have seen?
I was having the oil changed at 3500 mile intervals, but went to 5000 with
the synthetic. I have 80k miles, drive about 8000 miles a year, mostly
highway. Is a 5000 mile interval reasonable, or could I stretch it to 7500?
7500 would end up making it an annual change. I live in central North
Carolina, where it hits the 90's in summer and the 30's in winter.

Do you have a 2 stage alarm? a brief one for tampering,and a full 2 minute

my BlackWidow car alarm is temp sensitive;it gives the 1st stage tamper
warning briefly when the sun warms it up in the morning,a bit of a
nuisance.It could be the shock sensor.

Ok im having a big problem with my integra LS.I was driveing one day
and noticed the check engine light came on,i took it to the local
honda dealership and they told me it was a CODE 12: EGR,they said they
would have to replace the EGR valve to the tune of $473.00,once that
was done i noticed the check engine light came on again...i took it
back to the honda dealership and they ran another test...and once
again code 12 EGR came up,they said this time that it was the EGR
solenoid an that it needed to be replaced,they did it for free and
gave me my car back.
As soon as i left i noticed the check engine light again,took it
back....and what do you know,code 12 EGR came up on the scan.They then
spent the next 3 or so days,re routing the air intake hoses and pretty
much tightning nuts and bolts,not doing much of anything,got my car
back and once again check engine light came on saying code 12 EGR.At
this point the honda dealership head mechanic told me they dont know
what the problem is and there is pretyt much nothing they can do.
That is the back story,here is my problems.
-The car has a very rough idle when it is in Drive and my foot is on
the brake as soon as i put the car into netural or park the rough
idle stops and it idles normally.
-Code 12:EGR is still not fixed,and the check engine light comes on
almost everytime i drive the car...ive gotten it tested 4
times,everytime it is the Code 12:EGR problem.
Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appricated.

off the ceiling light circuit on page 12-57. It's labeled 'anti-theft
system" on the diagram.
Does anyone know where that lead is located?
Better yet, if there is one under the hood somewhere?
