I am having a rack problem. The steering rack is new, however, it is leakign fluid when the wheel is turned in either directions through the air hose that is attached to the rack on the driver's side of the card. Any input as to why it may be doing this is GREATLY appreciated. |

2000 Chrysler Concorde Starting Problem CGA 18:01:13 |
| | I've had my 2000 Chrysler Concorde in the shop 4 times since March 2007. First two were power steering problems. Last 2 were that the car won't start. If someone holds down the starter relay and tcm relay then the car will start. I'm $1000 into the fix and it still has the problem. If the car is off and you touch the relays, they click. Any ideas? |

| | i have a 96 jetta that does not want to turn on. I changed the coil, the sparkplugs and the distibutor rotor. but all it does is hesitate and wont start. It was running but i didnt get the tags so it was sitting for a while. I left the hood open for a day or two do you think that had something to do with it? or do you think its a relay ? please help. I also was thinking of changing the starter but people tell me that is not the problem because it tries to turn on. what do you suggest ? |

I have a 01 SAAB 93 conv and want t... mbrich 21:07:56 |
| | I have a 01 SAAB 93 conv and want to change the spark plugs and plug wires myself. I have always preformed my own maintainance and many repairs to save the $$$ automechanics charge. I can't see the spark plugs on my 2.0 turbo engine and assume that they are located under the cover which has DIRECT IGNITION stamped on it. As for the plug wires...????(do they exist)??? Can anyone confirm that location and clue me on on anything that makes this job different from changing plugs on any Ol' motor? Thanks |

fuel pump location or is it a fuel pump prblem billio1 22:33:32 |
| | i have a 1992 Saturn 4 door sedan with 4-cylinder ohc engine and automatic (i do not know if its an sc or sl edition) the man i bought this car from says its the powertrain control module (240 dollars yipes!) to replace. my landlord and i put in new battery and tried to crank it up but she refused to turn over. me and the landlord think it might be the fuel pump which is less expensive than the module.trouble is i do not know where the fuel pump is located.is it inside the fuel tank -( a bitch to replace) or is it outside the tank . i am having financial difficulties right now and i CANNOT use the "process of Elimination" theory to solve the problem.i would appreciate the correct answer as soon as possible and by the way if anyone has a spare upper set of seat belts that wrap on top of you that i could buy please let me know thank you

BMW 325ic convertible top re-engage motor(s)? tlmillard 19:27:36 |
| | I'm hoping someone can help with this...it's very frustrating. I took my BMW to have the backseat upholstery fixed and the guy pulled the emergency release lever for the convertible top that is located under the back seat. I know that I need to re-engage both motors (one for the convertible top and one for the lid to the area that stores the top). The motor that runs the convertible top is easy to locate and re-engage....but the motor that runs the lid is impossible. I don't even see the motor or the gears like the other one. Help!! |

Air conditioning compressor havasuparrothead 22:39:58 |
| | Can someone please tell me what it should cost to replace the air conditioning compressor on a '03 Wrangler? The hose blew, and when the repair person replaced the hose, he said that the cause was the compressor. Now I'm already skeptical of auto repair shops, but when they quote me 5 hours of labor plus parts, I really have to wonder. With that said, should I expect a bill of $600-$1000? If that is the case, I will simply do without. Any help please?! |
