 Anybody know how RVs and campers get running water for sink and shower? Do
you have to go to designated sites to get water? Or are there easy
accessible places anywhere?

Most of them have water tanks with demand pumps. As far as filling
the tanks there are many places including almost all camp grounds.

No, any place you are happy with (but use a hose designed for potable
water if drinking it--it will taste better. RV stores carry them.

Get rid of waste water?

Yes, a pumping station.
