 I am a woman and I have a 1998 bmw 740IL. I have had a regular oil change on it but they forgot to set my light(so I can know the next time it needs to be changed. I have checked the car and it needs oil(between high and low mark on dipstick). What type of oil to use? Also my antifreeze thing is empty!! Completely. Is this normal? What type of antifreeze to use. There are different color ones. Does it matter?

Honda 2005 CR-V Hatch Indicator Light malfunction CRV2005Owner 16:03:54
 I've taken our Honda 2005 CR-V into the dealer multiple times to repair the hatch door latch so that the indicator light on the dash doesn't keep flickering and automatic door locks work. Now that this car is out of warrantee, the dealership is out of the picture. If possible, I just want to disconnect the sensor or fuse that involves this indicator. I'm not sure the info I'm looking for is in a service manual or electrical manual, etc. ($80 USD). I would like to know if anyone knows how to FIX this!!!!!

 I own a 1994 sc2 went to shut car off and remove keys and that is when it locked up in the acc. mode.steering wheel is not locked up and will not lock up.The only option I have at this moment in time is to cross up the wires and get the car started.Does anyone know the idenity of the power and starter wires?thanks for reading.

 was driving down the road the other day and the engine just cut out and i came to a stop. the AA man told me that the timing belt had gone which i nearly cried and didnt look myself as it was dark and wet and its his job not mine. i have now started to fix the problem myself as i enjoy working on engines,to which this morning discovered that the timing belt seems fine and tight. i removed the rocker cover to find that whist turning over the engine everything there seems fine to.... i checked the spark plugs and it seems that this is were my problems lie,, i am not getting any spark. does anyone have any idea to what i need to do now.
i have put the battery on conditional charge.

just to note this is a electronic distributer not the manual. im hopeing that the ECU is not the problem.
have also been informed that the electronic distributer requires a TDC sensor.where is this????
also been told that the ECU controls it all????

just to make sure the timing belt hasnt slipped im going to check for compression tommorrow. i will keep this blog up to date...

 How easy is it to replace a tail light on a 2001 Nissan Sentra? It looks easy - a couple of bolts to remove, etc. Am I mistaken? Or am I in for a headache??

 My 1994 Nissan Sentra is having an air conditioning issue. It starts out cold, then minutes later it turns cool, then completley stops sending out cool air. Does it need more refrigerant and can I do it myself? I am very mechanically inclined if I just get the directions. Thanks.

 Hi

i have just bought a peugeot 607 52 plate 2.2 HDi SE, first of all the Sat Nav (VDO siemans)just seems to stop working and throws up the message "cant read disk wrong disk please eject and insert corrrect disk" what could be the problem, does it just need updated if so where to buy and how much. my second problem is the stereo (RM2). it is a clarion 6 disk cd changer (in the boot)it just switches off first i thought it was the cd changer/player but it also does it to the radio. then i thought it was due to playing too loud but no. it does come back on again after a short while but then i cant change cd/track/ or change to radio of if happened while listening to radio cant change station or to cd the control stick also becomes obsolete. it does go back to normal when i restart the car. gave it to garage i bought it from but they cant find the prob. could it be the amp not sure as like i said i cant control it once it comes back on. please help...anyone

2003 JEEP WRANGLER VIBRATION PROBLEM TheDark1 14:33:11
 I have an 03 TJ that shakes violently at 55mph. At any speeds below 55mph(0-54) the vehicle rides fine. At any speeds 55+, it vibrates very little. Everything seems tight when I jack it up and shake things around. Does anyone have any ideas? I hate to go through a trial & error and replace things that aren't bad (money is tight). Any info would be greatly appreciated.
